Joseph McClendon, as father and Next Friend of Brett McClendon filed suit in the Circuit Court of Bolivar County, Mississippi, alleging negligence against several defendants as a result of Brett McClendon being electrocuted as a result of a defect in an irrigation pump. This case was resolved prior to trial.
