Mr. Swan was born in Robstown, Texas on July 23, 1945. He was admitted to the bar in 1985. He received a B.A. from the University of Texas in Austin, an M.B.A. in

1973 and a J.D. in 1985 both from the University of Mississippi. Mr. Swan is a member of the Coahoma County Bar Association, the Mississippi State Bar and the Mississippi Trial Lawyers Association.

Mr. Swan joined Chapman Lewis & Swan and became a partner in 1990.

Mr. Swan's primary areas of practice are personal injury law, insurance law and federal jurisdiction.
